The project involved the replacement of a run-down 1960s bungalow, situated in the Green Belt on the edge of the Peak District with a New, Low-energy Home.

The house adopts a low-energy 'fabric first' approach significantly beyond Building Regulations requirements, and includes low carbon technologies such as Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR), air source heat pumps and solar panels. The project achieves an 'A' energy rating.

" Michael has helped lead us through the design process at every stage [and] has great attention to detail, considering design aesthetics along with the practicality of building the project.
Michael has been excellent at co-ordinating the design with other services such as MVHR and has helped pushed the programme forward. I would thoroughly recommend Michael and Fox-Groves Architecture "
