We've recently secured planning permission for improvements to a property in Bramhall, Stockport with approval granted 4 weeks ahead of schedule!
The existing house has an older extension but the ground floor living space wasn't working well for the owners and lacked a strong connection with the garden.

Rather than replace the existing extension, our proposals re-use as much of the existing fabric as possible, retaining some of the walls, floor and foundations reducing the cost and environmental footprint of the project. Improvements include new structural works to create a more open-plan space with larger areas of full-height glazing to connect with the garden. The new monopitch roof structure creates a vaulted internal space, along with new timber cladding and sections of render to improve the appearance of the existing patchwork of brick and tie the extension to the original house.
