Michael completed the technical design and worked contractor-side during the construction of this award-winning hotel development, whilst working at LTS Architects.

This BREEAM 'Excellent' project comprises a 99-room hotel, three retail units and a gym. The project also included the refurbishment and conversion of an existing Grade II listed building to form a new apartment and retail unit.

The scheme regenerates a formerly vacant site and provides a new public space by repairing the historic grain of Southwark’s characterful ‘yards'. The resultant scheme is a contemporary piece of architecture which engages with the history of the site, and makes a significant contribution to the regeneration of the London Bridge area.
